Protocol Cessna 172 Training
Platform Sim Pit / Unity

We engineered a flight simulator that replicates the exact aerodynamic behaviors and avionics suite of a Cessna 172, allowing pilots to log training hours safely.

Cockpit Replica

Zero Margin for Error.

In aviation, a "close enough" simulation can teach dangerous muscle memory. The challenge was to ensure that every switch, dial, and gauge in the virtual cockpit behaved exactly like its real-world counterpart, responding correctly to electrical load, vacuum pressure, and oil temperature.

Systems Fidelity

We didn't just model the plane; we simulated the air it flies through.

1. Fluid Dynamics

Airflow over wings is calculated in real-time, affecting lift and drag based on angle of attack, flap settings, and air density.

2. Avionics Logic

The Garmin G1000 suite was re-implemented in software, capable of displaying real GPS data and handling IFR flight plans.

3. Weather Injection

Instructors can inject dynamic weather systems—crosswinds, turbulence, icing—to test pilot decision-making.

Cockpit Replication

Compare the simulated cockpit environment against standard instrumentation.
